Pregnancy Care
Available for any pregnant women, we provide thorough pregnancy check ups including monitoring of blood pressure, fetal heart rate, fundal height, nutritional intake, and much more! We are blessed to be able to offer free prenatal vitamins and basic ultrasounds as part of our service!
Birthing Service
At Hope Alive we pride ourselves on offering a gentle birthing experience, where the mother is supported to birth naturally and safely. Throughout this process we monitor the mother and baby carefully. If there are any warning signs, we transfer as needed to the mother's hospital of choice.
Mama & Baby Wellness Checks
Care doesn't stop after baby is born! We offer a comprehensive postpartum service, including newborn medical assessment, breastfeeding education, newborn screening, newborn hearing test, all while checking in with our Mamas to see how they are healing physically and emotionally.
Restrictions on Birthing Service
Due to the government restrictions on birthing home licenses, the following criteria must be meet for mothers to give birth at Hope Alive. ALL expectant mothers may still avail of our Pregnancy Care and Mama and Baby Checks.
20-35 years old
At the time of baby's birth, mama must be aged 20-35 years old.
2-4th Pregnancy
First pregnancies and pregnancy number five and above are not permitted to birth at Hope Alive.
No Previous Caesarian
Any Mama with a previous caesarian is not able to birth at Hope Alive.
Family Planning
The journey doesn't just stop at pregnancy care! We continue caring for the family via family planning services. During pregnancy we already start conversations around the responsibility of family planning, and outline different options for mothers to choose from. We love that we can continue relationships for many years with our families through this service!
Medical Check-ups
Twice a week we hold medical clinics run by volunteering doctors, providing general medical care. We also have other specialty clinics as doctors volunteer their services. We are looking to expand this service, and praying for more doctors to join our team!
Outreach Ministries
We love to step out beyond our walls and into communities, especially those who are marginalized and unreached. We love to partner with Hope Rescue EMS for some of their community outreaches, and we are looking into how to expand our reach further for the glory of God!
