Tom lives in California and has over 40 years experience in family practice and Hospice care as a Staff Physician, Partner, Medical Advisor, and Medical Director. Tom has won several awards, including Talbert Medical Group Physician of the Year, and an Army Commendation Medal. He has experience operating a non profit in the USA which cares for impoverished young mothers/pregnant women.

Among other business successes, Brice is the Vice President for Operations of DOKTORS GENERICS PHARMACY INC., a franchisee of TGP THE GENERICS PHARMACY with over 110 stores nationwide. Brice firmly believes that for companies to grow, God should always come first, and he is excited to use his business expertise to see God’s Kingdom grow.

Guillermo ‘Joel’ Jorge B Garcia was born and raised in Washington DC, USA. Joel moved back to the Philippines in 2002 and has invaluable experience in being a key member of the start-up group for Asian Hospital, one of the top private hospitals in the Philippines and a pioneer in leading healthcare in the Philippines.

Miharu was born in the Philippines, grew up in the United States, and moved back to the Philippines in 1993. With more than ten years of experience in health policy analysis, health economics, and outcomes research, she is excited to have the chance to do something that can serve the needy and tangibly address injustices, as a witness to the reality of God’s Kingdom and His will being done “on earth as it is in heaven”.

Gutsy currently serves as SVP of Operations for one of the largest private label credit card (PLCC) fintech companies in the US. He has over 23 years of executive leadership experience, at one time leading operations across 8 countries and 9 delivery hubs, managing organizations of nearly 12,000 employees. Passionate about servant leadership, Gutsy is committed to using his business expertise to help Hope Alive expand its impact and transform lives through faith, compassion, and sustainable community development.
